I had a traditional barn star my dad gave me up it stayed in the garage hung on a wall. I finally figured out what I wanted to do with it! I LOVE the 4th of July and so does he. He instilled in me all the characteristics of being a good citizen and American. I thought it fitting his gift reflect that. I spray-painted it white, cut scrapbook paper to fit each side and modge podged it on there. I added an embellishment on the top that says "God Bless America". I LOVE it!!
